PERSONAL LETTER CHAPTER 6 PART 2

How are you, I hope you are in good and healthy condition, so this time I will discuss what a personal letter is, types of personal letters, structure of personal letters, and examples of personal letters.

#Personal letter meaning
Personal letter or personal letter is a letter that is addressed from one individual to another individual that is personal or private. 

#Types of Personal Letters and Parts
 
Personal letters can be divided into two categories or sections, based on the intended recipient: (Person-to-person letters) and (Person-to-business letters).

Here are some types of Personal Letters:

#Person-to-Person Letters

“Person-to-person letters are personal letters sent by one person to another dealing with personal matters, as opposed to business matters.” Here are the types.

1). Character reference letter 
2). Condolences letter 
3). Friendly letter
4). Goodbye letter
5). Love letter
6). Letter of apology
7). Letter of complaint
8). Letter of congratulations

#Person-to-Business Letters

“Person-to-business letters are personal letters sent by individuals to businesses or institutions or dealing with matters relating to some type of business relationship between the two parties.”

#Here are the types.

1). Acceptance letter
2). Application letter
3). Commendation letter
4). Complaint letter
5). Cover letter
6). Financial hardship letter
7). Financial information letter
8). Hardship letter
9). Introduction letter
10). Letter of application

#Personal letter structure

1. Date
The date section is written on the top left. Date written to indicate when the letter was written.

2. Address
The address contains the location where the letter was written or the address from which the letter was sent. This section is written at the top right.

3. Salutation and Name
In this section, the author will insert the greeting and the name of the recipient of the letter. Example, Dear....; Dearest; Sweetheart; and others.

4. Introduction
The opening of the letter generally begins with a response to the previous letter. When new correspondence begins, the author can introduce himself first.

5. Body
In the content section, the author will tell what he wants to convey to the recipient of the letter.
